I live in CA (SF Bay area), looking to move out of state possibly Nevada in two years once my son graduates High School.We sold our manufactured home a couple years ago and now are renting and saving for future home.Thought about buying an investment home in Las Vegas and renting it out for the next two years, while we are not ready to move.

In process of doing a cash out refi on it now, 1 year later, and it appraised for $400k so I'm recouping my cash now and will build on the lot next door starting next year. 

Eventually called up my bank to stop this fraudster named Kai and ask for refund, but the bank can only credit the most recent charge per their policy.

I'm in the Houston area and looking to list my property as a midterm rental before going the traditional lease route.

Personally, I wouldn't spend money on an attorney because 1) I think the covenants/restrictions can sensibly be used against STRs and 2) because the HOA potentially has deep pockets if the officers decide to fight because they can pass the cost of the fight to the home owners.I would reach out to the officers to get their sentiments and to plead my case, and I would start building my case with the other homeowners. 

And would love anyone’s input into my questions.Some more information about myself first.
