After reading through the forums a bit, I'm still not sold on this seminar as it felt like a "Get Rich Very Quick" thing, but I hope I can learn something from here, and learn where to get info on any and everything dealing with owning real estate.

In general I'm not a big fan of partnerships, especially advertised ones or with people you don't know as @Jay Hinrichs points out.A couple problems beyond that though:  a bank will only allow the borrower on the deed traditionally.
