After 40-50 episodes, I decided I needed to read Rich Dad Poor Dad, The Richest Man in Babylon, etc. and also decided to give real estate investing a try.My parents have fully owned a home in a more rural area of Southern California (imagine that Victorville is the closest "large city") for the past six years.

So when I cash out refi I plan to start looking in to some of the southern markets again.  

I prefer the southern greater KC area like JoCo (Johnson County) but it is tough there.  

I already own two houses, both bought in the past 5 years (Bed Stuy and Cypress hills) and really can't see myself taking on much more renovation/maintenance work (although as mentioned, there aren't really older condos to be had there anyway) I have found a few properties in southern Bushwick that would not even break even, would have me paying probably $200-300/mo after rental income.

Hello, I'm wondering what people's opinion are on the real estate environment in southern Maine?

Hi Guys and Gals Mark here...Im originaly from southern California and I moved out to Texas with my family 6 years ago.Im a husband and a father to two awesome young ladies and my biggest desire to build an amazing life and future for my wife and kids. 

@David Idi I would consider this a "class B" neighborhood for southern Indiana.

Should I live nearby or extend the distance to Southern Jersey?
