I just bought my first flip and i want to know what is the best place to buy cabinets in or near to San Antonio.. is home depot a good option? 

The kitchen is very dated, but the cabinets look like they could be plywood boxes.  

Would they look weird next to the "cheap" cabinets from Home Depot?

Or these cabinets at all for rental purposes?

The paint colors were awful and the kitchen was a dark cave with paneled walls and homemade cabinets but it was still promising.                                                        

YOu can bill tenant for Nicotine stained walls and after washing with TSP, let walls dry completely and prime with Kilz before painting,, you can charge tenants for the priming sealer also.. but usually not cost of paint.Woodwork, cabinets, window glass,  also holds nicotine and should be washed down,, if it's painted then do the TSP wash, prime and paint,, and GOOD LUCKTo wash ceilings if not popcorn,, I use a sponge mop followed by a another sponge mop with a terry towel..

Would love to hear from those who managed to naviate the site to those plans and detailed descriptions.In addition, per International Building Code used by City of Austin as their  construcion code standard, many remodeling "finish out" items don't require permits: painting, replacing flooring,  countertops & appliances, tile work, replacing light fixtures without altering the wiring, replacing plumbing fixtures without altering plumbing lines, replacing cabinets, etc.

Folks who owned a truck and transported gravel, custom cabinet makers, all kinds of sales people who had no work when the industry almost completely stopped building.

I purchased cabinets from IKEA, made my own vanities from prime lumber and fabricated concrete counter tops for the kitchen and both baths.

I have ordered pre-assembled white shaker kitchen cabinets for a simple L-shaped kitchen with a total of 9 cabinets and crown molding on the uppers.
