Hello everyone,I am getting ready to make my first home a rental property.

If I'm an out of state investor, is this income tax based upon income made in Ohio or does it include all my income, regardless of where I've earned it?  

Any tips or advice for someone considering participating in the upcoming auction would be greatly appreciated!

I started off saving funds from my w2 as well.

I would not house hack while allowing someone else to place my housemates.

My hesitation is that after accounting for all of the items you are supposed to account for when analyzing a deal, the CoC return on the down payment is pretty much negligible initially.

Also, any tips y'all would give to people who are just starting out, also I am open to other nearby areas where barrier to entry is still relatively low.
