All LLC companies should have an EIN number (not required but suggested) not your SS # and if a bank wants to use your SS # find a new bank. 

I would suggest doing your first flip close to home as there is a lot to manage, especially time and that is compounded severely when you do it from a distance.

I suggest going with hard money since that product is more made for rehabs than an institutional bank.
