However, our experience has been the tenant is more likely to bolt prematurely once they have been served notice.To start the eviction process (here a Notice to Vacate is served first) requires cause - missed rent, damage, disturbance complaints, police calls to unit, etc - and cannot simply be served/filed "in case" the tenant does not move at the end of her/his lease.Perhaps there is simply some loose terminology being communicated by the Vendor and s/he has simply served a Notice of Termination on the tenants.  

The rest was pretty much out of his control, and our entire government deserves to get the blame.Likewise, I only blame Obama (so far) for three things he was most responsible for: the ridiculous stimulus funding, pushing through the Health Care Bill prematurely and not restoring the rights taken from us by the Patriot Act.

Without knowing the probable rent growth and appreciation rate you are being very premature in making a sell decision.

In this case, you may really need that and you don't want to verbally obligate yourself to anything pre-maturely.

It's only been 2 and 1/2 years since I made the purchase, so I may be premature in saying this, but I don't think I would base a decision to purchase a rental unit in a depressed area solely on the addition of an Amazon distribution center. 

THAT is the hard part.I am telling you this so you don't get discouraged and prematurely turn that sweet new blood into a sour back goo of misserableness lesness..
