In most cases, I don't recommend renting out your primary residence especially if you have no rental experience and that is because usually your primary residence was bought without the idea of renting it out.

And they did it for years before my family bought that ranch.Many my age born in the 50s we did work in Ag in the 60s  I lived in Cupertino CA and I cut Cotts in the summer.. thats splitting apricots in half and laying them on a big wooden board to then dry naturally in the sun out doors.. hard to find REAL dried apricots these days U can still find them in Trader Joes though..

We already paid them a pretty sizeable entry fee ($30k) to cover some of their equity and debt in another project..Your title report should have alerted you to the issue.The payoff the escrow company got from the lender should have alerted you to the problem.Your interview of the seller before you bought the house, should have alerted you to the problem.You calculations on the numbers should have alerted you to the problem.Check, cross check and check again.

I bought 6 unit property in Wildwood,NJ,in November 2024, doing rehab now, should be done by May 2025I am planning to subdivide 6 unit building to 6 separate condos and sell fall 2026, , if there are any experts in 1031 that can help me?!
