Search a tort called "fraud in the inducement".First, that's just unethical. 

When I am first starting out investing in something, I prefer something I can use my credit card with because it at least gives me some protection with a charge back if there is fraud or loss. 

There are phone apps that can do this, it's a very easy way to help prevent fraud like this

@Mary Jay  A few things here: on your loan application you're supposed to list all debts, otherwise it's mortgage fraud. 

Ideally, the comps should be as physically close to your subject as possible, with nearly identical features (square footage, house style, amenities, etc), and sold as recently as possible.

Renting out your primary residence directly after taking out a loan with owner-occupied financing very well may constitute mortgage fraud.
