It was some hedge fund manager that was the whistle blower on the products, and guess what right before he blew the whistle he shorted the stock.  

Which is a much more appealing proposition when its coming from someone with several deals under their belt.

ok I am at a point where I have done my research and still learning but I'm ready to get my first deal going and get it under my belt.

They should be in your conveyor belt of follow ups and never drop off.

I now have a clearer idea of the direction I would like to go however want to dive back into this genre of financing just to see if I can add it as another tool in the tool-belt. 

And ye's, I'll be leaving quite a lot of money in the house, maybe because I'm just building my portfolio / resume with the lender and as I have more in my belt, I can get a higher LTV . 

A recent example is this winter the blower motor and control board on the furnace went out, they sent a technician next day they replaced the board and motor for 75 dollars. that service would have been almost 1000 dollars, seems like a good deal. 

The most important thing is to get your first deal under your belt.
