Hi John, My wife and I attended a meet up in Tega Cay, SC last Saturday and have been looking into more around the Charlotte area.

Also rent can go up making it hard for you to profit no matter how well you run your business.

And could start making a small amount of cashflow and start gaining appreciation with an LTR.Or do we continue to save up and get a better property in a good location with the amenities we would like to offer with an STR?

And in Oregon they end up escheating to the state as surplus then you have 9 years to claim them..

While I was gone she ended up reading Set for Life and Retire Early with Real Estate on her own.

The latter process would take more time (due to capital generation from other sources), cash investment and end up with much less capital appreciation over time but would also carry much less potential risk. 

I'm not exactly sure where to start or whom to contact regarding setting up this LLC.
