Once a bank has possession of such a property, its primary goal is usually to sell it as quickly as possible to recoup the outstanding loan amount, or as much as possible.

That is fine, but I'd really like something that could look at my account and have me specify the loans I've made and which transactions belong to which loan, and then help me track outstanding loans, monthly payments, etc.Has anyone come across software you'd recommend for this?

Those are similar to auto loans where the buyer doesn’t receive title until the outstanding balance is paid in full
