Any advice or tips on what may be the best way to dive in would be greatly appreciated!

The most important thing is first getting to know the individuals in these specific topics, or taking on a couple of 'normal' deals in the Netherlands with the Dutch rules and regulations, before diving deep in the sometimes complex concepts they are discussing here.

I've always wanted to get into real estate but have been living (mostly) in Japan for the last 9 years and haven't had the opportunity to really dive in. 

Cash on Cash, IRR and return on equity.If these numbers look good on the surface the project will get a deeper look.

However, with the quoted rate often being an average, what are your favorite resources to delve deeper into the components of the average? 

But sometimes you have to dive in, be bold and take the leap.

So i either fight this out....which i dont have the funds for or find someone with deeper pockets than me.

Multifloor mold issues and signs of rotting/deterioration probably goes a lot deeper than you can visibly see. 

I'm anxious to dive into this game but with a family that doesn't yet see the big picture and 2 small kids, it's going to be a bumpy start with time commitment.I'm convinced on the mentor/knowledgeable partner to start off on the right foot.
