The technology has improved a lot lately for captioning and other services for the deaf which has been awesome and they keep adding new features!

It's surprisingly hard to research buy / property manage a unit that is more than 1-2 hr drive. i wish there were better systems to scale these things, but so much of this is on-the-ground physical presence work (coming from a software/technology world)

And, based on what you said above, it sounds like you'd agree that if a great number of Indians and Asians in technology decided to move out of the U.S., it would impact market values negatively in areas where technology is a large part of the employment base.Well, as someone with strong ties to the technology section -- and a lot of Indian and Asian friends in technology -- it seems pretty clear to me that there a strong trend towards Indians and Asians in the technology industry to head back to their country of origin to pursue technology opportunities.

My initial thought is being able to "inspect" damage or a repair by having someone video it and send you the video, or you could watch live and ask questions.Second thought is having typical security cameras in common areas and being able to remotely review footage when someone has a complaint, at least to get a sense of what's going on.Seems like with modern technologies there should be some clever approaches that make remote management easier...Speaking of which, @Ryan Swan, there are electronic locks you can put on a door such that you can give a person a one-time code, and you get a record of exactly when they entered and left.
