I'd encourage you to ask around for a great contractor (word of mouth referrals will lead you to a better contractor than other means of finding one).

It is not a question of if the housing market at the macro level will complete the correction and revert to the mean, it is a question of when and how it will do it.I'm confident of the timing and have put my investment money in the US where my mouth is.I adjusted my strategy in 2005 for some of the same reasons when it became increasingly apparent we were headed to a recession.
