If you go too high, they could find private money, so the lower the rate the longer they are likely to keep that obligation.Check with your agent and see if there is a usury law, the highest legal rate that can be charged, not saying to charge that, just don't go over it.What has been considered a fair rate for years is ten per cent, right now that is high compared to conventional loans, but this is not conventional financing.
