You aren't submitting any claims to CMS are you?

Its been over 3 months since they supposedly sent in the plans for approval with the City of LA and we have yet to even SEE the plans they submitted.

I know that in single families in Cleveland Heights people have put in basement bedrooms with an egress window and they were on formal plans that were submitted to the city and approved. 

I encourage all others who have been swindled or have had similar experiences to share them too and to submit complaints to the Better Business Bureau, Department of Consumer Affairs, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, State Board of Accountancy, Federal Trade Commission, Police Department’s Financial Crime Unit, and the District Attorney.For the potential franchisee owners who are considering this as a business, I would run the other way!

Sounds to me like the broker is stringing you along to pay for another appraisal and submit to another lender.... 

The architect will assemble the plans and submit the drawings to the city. 

You should advise the roommate that they are welcome to submit a request for accommodation but unless they have a plan that would alleviate your symptoms their request will likely be denied.

It's just about having the right team in place where you can identify them and get offers submitted quickly and solid contractors that can give you realistic quotes so your financial forecasts are accurate.
