I once had a renter with a pit bull that he swore up and down was the most gentle dog on the planet, but as soon as his wife gave birth the dog was gone.

It will remain in place and be removed at the end of tenancy.Hopefully, that sways people towards treating it more gently.

150 -200 grit to buff out previous poly helps if you have imperfections after 1st coat.

Once you have a call or letter from an attorney because the nice rottweiler that you played with for 3 minutes during the screening process has chewed up little Johnny down stairs or more likely little Johnny's annoying cat, it will not matter how gentle you perceived this rottweiler to be.

I buff and re-coat my rentals almost every time I re-rent as it makes them look beautiful and uniform again.

If you cant notice it easily immediately after removal it is a light buff and coat.
