After some hard discussions, we came to the conclusion that we'd like our cake (stay in Fort Collins) and eat it too (determine a way to take action in REI for our short and long-term benefit).  

I want to work with people who aren't always trying to slice into the cake before the wedding.Big fan of Philadelphia, we're targeting a commercial deal in East Germantown by 2017.

Appreciation is icing on the cake but not to be counted on.

I just raised private money for the first time, easy as cake if you know what you're talking about.

The appreciation will be icing on the cake and in a market like Boston, I imagine it will be a lot of icing.

Don't buy the cake for the icing - appreciation is a bonus, but as much as I am optimistic about the next years, you can't count on it.

And most respected me.Would I have done it, if there wasn't potential icing on the cake waiting?

Then the whole idea of passing your wealth and knowledge down to your kids so they can take hat you have and grow it is the Icing on the cake!
