If you have chance of pipes freezing i say stick with copper but if you live in the warmer states that never see snow i would recommend pex. you cant thaw out pex tubing when frozen. i also dont believe in the shark bites or the fitting that clamp from pex to copper. seen them leaking and rather stick to a torch with some solder.

What better way to get doors then to buy 4 plex with FHA live there a year buy another until you used up your 4 mortgage slots. you now have 16 doors in 5 years lets say all for 3.5% down and hopefully rates will stay stable.

@Arthur Zaragoza I am not sure about others but I would have your take out figured out before I paid cash and counted on a refi.I would think your American relatives are best bet to get this done for you. they will be limited to loan slots ... then you can go portfolio and then lastly semi hard money if it makes sense.true non recourse with secondary lenders is in the 8 to 9% apr rates with 50% down..

I recently was offered a $6500 business loan at 34.99% which I thought not legal, maybe I'm mistaken and it was 24.99% which i thought was limit to not be consider a loan shark.
