Most, if not all, Northern cities are going to be slower in winter; I mean, who wants to move in the snow? 

Not sure how cold is gets at night but lots of investors here in various report improved winter bookings when they have a hot tub.

Buying a property based on video tours and pictures isn't the same as seeing it in person, plus all the renovation and repair issues, winter weather issues, hurricanes, etc.

Inflation is just not dropping significantly, and with the continuing issues in Ukraine, watch folks wallets get tighter and tighter as people struggle to pay their heating bills this winter.

The combination of hot long summers (soil dries out) and lots of moisture in winter and spring (saturates the soil) causes the ground to constantly expand and contract.Out of state investors get freaked out by foundation issues but being that its such a normal occurrence, you have a plethora of foundation companies that know how to fix them with relative ease. 

There's miles of hiking, biking trails, recreation equipment rentals for kayaking, floating, paddleboards, winter spirts, resursnts, breweries, etc.

I see owners want summer rates in winter.
