What I found so far in the process is that I'm on track to make way more money than I ever made as an employee doing REI part time, and I wish I had made the jump a few years ago instead of trying to hit to magic milestones.

Go to meet groups, you find a lot of info about real estate and you'll probably find mentors who could help you plan and start your journey.

Unfortunately, I have hit a small road block in my investing journey and am trying to be creative to keep my journey moving forward at a steady pace!

Hello BP, I'm currently in the "research" phase of my journey to investing, but hope to get to the "action" part later this year. 

An idea you might consider for your area is to attend some local REIA meetings and seek out realtors who've been there for a while - like, longer than a few months...On a more general note, there's no secret sauce or magic potion certain brokers are privy to.  

My wife and I are foster parents and have had 8 foster children living with us throughout our foster care journey, which made a larger home a necessity.

I have just begun my Realestate journey.
