Our definition of "high end" is probably different than most (even high-end in Atlanta is not very high-end and I don't yet do high-end in Maryland/DC)...so this might not be very helpful...We tend to use solid oak site-finished in anything above entry-level houses.

For oak floors (assuming solid hard wood and not laminate), I would let the Natures miracle soak into all the cracks so it seeps in where the pee is to neutralize those areas.
