Price per sq ft means very little sadly. an 1800 sq ft ranch and a 3600 sq ft colonial will have very similar roof sizes - so replacing the roof does not double in price.

I live in SoCal for the life style & the weather.It's a sad lesson, but many seniors move to a location with a lower cost of living ONLY to discover the rebuilding of social connections, professional services( aka doctors, lawyers) becomes disappointing.
