My mentor suggested I start a meet up for several reasons which are: Control your time (have the meeting work with your schedule and where you want to be)Become a well-known connector of peopleGain thought leadership and authority in topics discussedGive back to help others get started and close more real estate dealsBuild relationships with like-minded individualsMy real estate breakfast meeting has been going strong and will continue to meet on the first and third Friday of each month.

Worked my butt off at all kinds of job clean bathrooms, fast food, manufacturing carpet plant and finally got a part time sales job which led to six figure income with multiple leadership roles.Finally got my BA degree which was paid by my W2 employer.

@Frank Bonzai have you thought about using that free time to start your own thought leadership platform (blog, podcast, youtube channel, etc.)? 

I would suggest if you don't have already if putting together a thought leadership platform where you can use it as "marketing".

While my usual topics relate to communication, leadership, time/energy management, personal finance, etc.

You might consider taking the opportunity to invest in yourself and developing some leadership and speaking skills.

I see self-managing rental properties as the ultimate in leadership challenges.

I don't want to "buy" mentor or a coach, but I would definitely do a partnership deal ( and do  the heavy  lifting) in exchange for experience and leadership.
