Then I go to send a message to a handful of  local peeps I want to meet and interact with and after 2-3 messages I just got "banned" and can't send anymore messages??

I believe the tenants get a better sense of community by interacting and sharing ideas with each other.  

Instead, think respectful and professional interactions, open and honest communication, prompt response to tenant needs, establishment of good property management systems, and customer service. 

From my daily interaction with the market, there is a lot of upside potential.

I go to the BP meetups in Erie, Denver and Littleton and do the best I can to interact in a pleasant manner there.  

Though exhausted, we found it fun to answer inquiries, arrange group showing, and interact with people bringing all kinds of stories.One apartment has been under lease with an amazing couple (both are working professionals).
