The ethics and laws are much different, if you deal with real estate as a widget of personal property you have the wrong mind set to be in real estate.If you have a PA contract with a seller that allows the seller to consent to an assignment, you have a listing agreement, you're putting yourself in a position to act on a seller's behalf with their consent, now you are a broker!
