This may be a little out of place but i'm of the group of people that more times than not, place my own obstacle in my way by negative thinking and not believing in my powers to change the world around me.

On a micro level it sometimes helps to look at real world situations. 

@Saira Khan It is amazing to learn that the shape of RE World is perfectly round.....I've seen many many investors (including myself, up to some extent) saying that Chicago is not a good market, negative population growth, high taxes, tenant friendly laws and so on.

Although I don't know a whole lot about the technicals from that time, I grew up seeing the dedication, lifestyle, and opportunities that the right attitude, work-ethic, and drive can bring in the real estate world.

I am up to 16 properties now and have a fairly good idea of some aspects of the lending world, but I was hoping there may be something out there that I did not know about.
