What are required to secure a bridge loan?

Mike Dymski there are lenders out there who will bridge you to an agency loan.

So, being an investor in the area as well, I do believe we have already missed the perfect timing to get into Chelsea unless you are looking into a larger apartment complex / commercial units, which is totally out of my ball game for now at least.I also see a lot of positives as Boston continues to see major deficits in the apartments needed and Chelsea has seen a lot of investments lately: FBI HQ, major hotel chains opening up, faster and inexpensive Tobin Bridge tools, etc.Best of luck on your search and please keep us in the loop for whatever you decide/find.Flavio Zanetti

Personally, I've bridged, cross-collateralized, substituted security, forced appreciation, and more in order to facilitate timely exit of private capital.  

I used them for a bridge loan on an auction purchase.

In order to invest in Port Huron you have to know what areas you can invest in, for example anything north of the Blue Water Bridge is pretty much off limits (there are some small pockets you can invest in) because of local ordinances.

I've thought about bridge loans for folks who live in an area where real estate prices aren't ridiculous, that way I can get the money back relatively quickly and it's not wasting away in my bank.My questions:Is this a good investment option?

By that I mean what actually happens on the ground......aside from pictures, video, phone calls, conference calls, texts, emails, dropbox etc. which are the communication tools employed to bridge the distance gap.My main question to you is have you physically flown out to the area to actually see your properties and drive around the neighborhoods they are located in and drive around the city at large?
