I have west coast and some MS A class rentals that I can self manage and never hear from the tenants except for lease renewal.. and this generally is not the case in C and medium B  you must engage and be on top of things.. one needs to remember a C class tenant is only a flat tire or stolen cell phone away from missing rent  LOL...

This will probably work better than a morticed hinge with those thinner old fashioned doors.Put up trim cove or quarter round to cover the gap between the wall and fridge bridge cabinet.If you are going to keep the undersized fridge, glue on a straight valance to make the fridge bridge the same size as the cabinet next to it and push the fridge over next to the sink base.Replace the too short board on the cabinets underneath the gas cooktop with a board the same thickness and width as the two cabinet doors (again the rustoleum finish kit will blend it in)
