Also if you ever look at your monthly statement for payment you'll notice the escrow balance is separately calculated, this is so you can actually be sure of what is being applied and when.

Now take what you learned and apply it to the next deal.Real world expetience is your best teacher. 

You can't apply a cookie cutter approach to it.

I know for SF homes there are specified "seasons" for buying, does this apply to multifamily?

My wife and I are new to Real Estate investing and are looking forward to learning and applying everything we need to run a successful business.

One question:I would like to be able to buy outside of land contracts and I have not yet applied a loan via  a conventional bank.

It may not apply, or it may have already been covered by the previous title insurance.
