Each payment you receive the installment sale has three components:1) return of your basis, 35k ( not taxable) 2) your gain 45k-35k -selling cost (Taxable as LTCG)3) interest specified in your contract( taxable at ordinary rate)  

It keeps my life interesting but is only one component to my overall success.

Carbon fiber body panels, superchargers, headers and exhaust components, aftermarket wheels, performance pistons and rods, machine work, etc – these parts are not cheap, and the extensive modifications left my car absolutely useless during installations for long periods of time.In total, after spending $17,000 to buy the car that I eventually owned free and clear (excluding interest) and spending an additional $20,000 in performance and other upgrades to end up with a reliable 600hp beast on the streets, I was essentially going to realize a loss of $22,000 if I was able to sell the car for $15,000 - the current blue book value the day I stood in the garage pondering if I was ready to take the leap and sign it over to a buyer.

You do realize that you can have a Roth component within a solo 401k, which is what I was referring to.

Credit cards (more than one, fewer than five) used wisely should be an integral component of a responsible personal financial management plan.

@Kim R.I will have them do a paper application, and the background check online info is separate.Typically information you need on an application is more extensive then the info required on an online background check, which typically you only need SSN, DOB, name, and 1 or 2 former addresses I think that's all.In my application I would need to know how many vehicles, each vehicle's license plate number, how many pets - breed/weight/markings/age, who is their emergency contact, etc etc etc...and then I incorporate the completed application form as a component of the lease. 

I've done direct mail, door-knocking and referrals....They all work, but I'm relatively new so finding the most efficient strategy is more important....Direct mail - has been most effective in terms of time, but the trade off is of course it's more costly.Would love to explore the online component.

Also, on a personal level  I never make a house change without shopping for the components.
