Would you guys prefer putting your money in an index fund or mid risk (9-10% return) performing notes?

I have a Vanguard Roth IRA (index funds) that has done awesome for me and wouldn't touch it unless I needed cash and an awesome deal was in front of me!

Anybody else buying the dip in car makers/ transportation index because of the new Mexico tariffs? 

I re-started contributions to my IRAs and kept most of it in stock and bond index funds.

@Brian H.Bogleheads is good if interested in index funds I think listening to podcasts on real estate investing is a good start. 

I've just gotten started on the low-cost index fund thing, but slowly cozying up to the idea of a cash flow hustle.
