Removed all under layment, and kilzed the cross beams where the floor was bad.. most of kitchen, family room and halls on 1st floor and halls on second.

(If the wall is not longer there to carry the weight, then that weight has to be dispersed somehow, meaning a beam spanning the area to hold up the overhead weight)It's not a matter of IF it can be done, but the cost of doing it!

I have had two GCs and an engineer (who sucked) look in the attic and verify the walls are not load bearing, but one quote said "install two posts and a beam, and pour one pad footing to support inner post".
