Finally in the mix we had Covid, which pushed a lot of people out of big cities up to our beautiful area with lakes, rivers, mountains, etc. and housing inventory is crushed! 

I was drawn to RentRedi for the integration with Latchel, but after seeing an ill-prepared demo of the product this week, only to be stood up by an appointment booked with Latchel itself, I'll be taking my dollars elsewhere.

I've read BiggerPockets' Real Estate Investing book and am particularly interested in the house hacking strategy, as I'd like to move out of my current living situation.Our main dilemma is choosing between a single-family home (renting out one room to a close friend) or a multifamily property like a duplex or triplex.

Close to a cool little town, close to an area attraction, etc....Also do a search here and see how to screen guests, in addition to what the hosting sites do.... like no last minute bookings, no short stays....

I am currently trying to learn as much as possible by reading books and listening to podcasts.

Finally, even with a substantial discount, the house may not be worth it.

So why, when Soviets passed into the history books, are we still there on mission that literally no longer exists?

Is this book worth my time or am I better off going another direction?

We already have a few mid-term booking requests so just as I thought, my vision of what's possible is coming to reality.
