The doors the tenant is talking about are the closets doors mostly.

They will not be in a closet but may be separated by a 4 feet wall on the side.The reason I am asking is that there are already all connections available if I keep the washer/dryer location same but then it is in the master bath.The alternate design is to move washer/dryer to a side, in a closet and be totally separated with master bath but then it will cost more as I will have to pay for extra plumbing/electrical and vent.any ideas?

The HVAC, which is your typical condensor outside and furnace inside the closet are about half way through there useful life.

I paid for foundation work, complete new roof including rotting facia boards, some siding was replaced and some was fixed, all new flooring, gutted and redo on 1 bathroom and complete gut of kitchen with new granite counters, cabinets, all new light fixtures, all new switches and plugs, lots of moving of wires, framed up giant sliding closet doors and replaced with regular doors, a/c was just cleaned and serviced, paint inside and out, and lots of landscaping.

We showed a home for rent while we were still working on it and one man actually requested that we build a bigger closet in the bedroom.  

I also have the Nest smoke and carbon monoxide detectors (State requires carbon monoxide detectors) CO2 detectors give you peace of mind anyway so you may want to consider that at the top of your list.I have also set up my own portable security cameras when I don't have tenants.

If I was an agent I would have a HOT spot. laptop and portable printer and scanner with me in the car at all times.. so I could get it. doneI first met an agent about 6 years ago that had that set up.. of course he was a top agent

Sometimes there is a room with a window that could be turned into a bedroom by adding a closet, good way to add value by making it a 3/1.
