I do my best to not judge the book by the cover, but if I've got two contractors with equal qualifications standing in front of me and one is wearing a wife beater, looks like he hasn't showered in two weeks and has a cigarette hanging out of his mouth and the other has a collared shirt with a company logo and doesn't look like someone I'd cross the street to try to avoid, I'm going to try the guy that looks professional first.
