Hi BP members, I'm Jen from Brooklyn, NY and new to BP as well as real estate investing.I found BP through the BiggerPockets Podcast and in the past few weeks have listened to at least one episode a day while riding the subway to work.I currently work in the fashion and entertainment industry and while it is fun, it can be challenging to secure a future in such a fickle industry.I became interested in REI years ago after reading Rich Dad Poor Dad but nothing ever came of it until now.

The common denominator for ALL of these neighborhoods is reliable public transportation and the ability to obtain food/drink/entertainment/groceries without getting in a car.
