That's because the wholesalers they have encountered in the past were just a waste of time - inflated ARV and underestimated repairs (plus overestimated rents where applicable) leads to bad deals. 

I encountered a first for me last night. 

I am managing a property in a Class C area for the first time; my other places are in nicer areas.So one of the things I have encountered is maybe 10% of the calls are from people who sound quite desperate and mention they have to move as soon as possible.I never got too far with any of those callers. 

It is also the only one I've encountered that runs on UNIX/Linux, Mac OSX and Windoze.The only reason we switched was due to our accountants - the fellow with whom we dealt moved on and none of the other folks were willing to use it ....

There is a programme whereby one can invest in the country ($75 - $200K+) and/or operate a business for a period of time as a path to obtaining permanent residency, but I do not know if it is open to U.S.A. citizens ... we mostly encounter folks from the middle east or Asia using this programme.
