Different states will allow different things, even though the basics are always similar.For example I am in MA like the OP and some of the recent active inquirers and here it is pretty restrictive in what and how much you can collect and with a security deposit the regs are pretty stringent.Okay so my opinions that aren't that relevant for 49 states :)- I like to get 1st, last and security every time if I can.
