Tyler Willson Economical noise reduction for upper/lower duplex?

The upper unit has pretty much been gutted (there is still some flooring left but studs otherwise), and I was wondering if it is worth doing any sort of noise reduction with the upper unit to possibly avoid future issues between tenants.

Most states require 24 hr written notice.Tenants may seem very receptive but once the noise, dirt and inconvenience begins they can turn very nasty.Do it by the book, never make assumptions when dealing with tennants.
