Even if you don't get the money now, you're at least planting seeds and they may come around deal #3, and #4. 3.

Plus American made right in Freemont CA.. were I grew up basically driving by the old Chevy plant that became the Numi plant that became the Tesla plant.. instead of those dead and dying apocalyptic factories you see in Detroit  LOL..

And as any farmer will tell you in order to have a harvest you have to first plant something.

I could also try planting various tropical fruit trees there where it would not work here in the Bay Area.

@James Hart I love your idea, it's the kind of thing I'd love to do as well, except maybe with bamboo houses on acreage somewhere tropical.  

I maintain a home warranty for the appliances and the home owners insurance has been used to cover an almost $30k water, mold repair exposed by the last major tropical storm that occurred as my tenants live there.

I order from the mix plant, and its usually $90-100/cu yd, then my labor and etc, but then I don't do anything less than 5 cu yd.
