If that is the case, in my experience (Florida based), when you apply for a "Real Property" sticker (couple hundred dollars) it turns the home from a motor vehicle into real property, attached to the dirt...so now, instead of paying a small DMV registration fee, you pay property tax on the home.

@Darren FlaterUsing the old single K&T copper to back haul new wire rarely works unless you are pulling a very short run and if you are not passing through any framing (where you will encounter tubes).

So I've been encountering so much more investors wanting to invest in Northwest Indiana that are investing in Chicago and there a quite a few differences to keep in mind if you want to purchase in the area that are to your benefit 🤓 1) There are NO attorneys involved in the transaction when purchasing a property in Indiana; we, the realtors do all of the work 😃 it doesn't mean you can't negotiate, it just means that all of the paperwork is done by realtors; and the title company arranges the closing2) Indiana is landlord-friendly, meaning that if you ever have to evict someone, it will only take 2-4 weeks and you DO NOT need an attorney to process the eviction, you take care of everything yourself, its just a small fee to initiate the eviction with the county3) Tenants pay water!
