You can add pressure by contacting the real estate commission or whatever the governing body is.

With rent control and increased taxation seemingly inevitable for San Diego landlords (considering local and state government LOVES framing us as the greedy bad guys) I think the writing is on the wall, and now/soon is a good time to sell.

If you can walk into your local bank with great credit, have no capped yourself on the governed Fannie REI's, and are able to spend the time yourself to go through the full-doc underwriting process, title commitments, property insurance correspondence, and appraisal stages, then I think you're better off going that route.

It does not look like its on the table for the government to get rid of the program and if so I read they would keep the program for all current participants.  

It is however entirely dependant on th elocal government handlers regarding dependability of tenants.
