The current models of the 2 companies you call out are easily pivoted since they are primarily tech companies.

I am willing to still get long this profile, as they pivot.

So we went into the commercial space and pivoted to self-storage.

This plunged the world into the greatest recession most of us had ever seen and caused more than four million completed foreclosures.There’s no denying the incredible role appreciation has played in investors’ lives, but there’s also no denying the risk involved in relying on appreciation to make a profit.

Being an entrepreneur is primarily a role of knowing your strengths and recognizing your holes, then filling in people for those holes.Most all investment managers start with partnerships of two or three people that have complimentary skill sets, relationships, etc.  

But if your family instead was going to use it often, then you pivot from looking at it as a pure investment to looking at the value of your family’s togetherness and happiness.

In the same vein having a new role of toilet paper on the roller for them is a nice touch also.

Then be prepared to pivot when **** doesn't go as expected.
