I agree with Tim, this idea sounds like a nice hobby but as fast as the market is moving here in SA, the data will become obsolete pretty quick imo.Ask yourself is this the best use of your time and resources?

I'm looking to categorize my buyers and blast out a text message to specific groups whenever I get a property that fits their criteria.I'm sure services like this exist out there but I'm looking for the most cost effective one and I'd rather hear the best from you guys rather than from the salesman pitching their product.Does anyone use a platform like this and how does it perform for you?

Certainly nothing ground-breaking in terms of ideas here, however I'll be very hands on (and on site) during the process to make sure that every step of the way is executed to a high standard and very carefully.Once I've hopefully developed a successful track record and gained experience, my next goal would be to move on to commercial assets (think multi-family, industrial etc) so that I can leverage my existing investor network and real estate knowledge to raise 3rd party equity and take on bigger projects.

If structured well, this can be a great way to get started without much cash.

The best way to find a CPA or real estate-focused accountant is to checkout who is posting in the tax forum all day helping folks :) 

Is there a better way to find out how many existing units are there in each town, or do I need to drive to each facility and ask?
