An agent who is not interested in investing is dead weight to investors. 

And when they betray that trust and commit crimes, may the weight of the world come crashing down on them to hold them accountable.  

Weight is about 183 so want to shed off about the last 15 to 20 pounds left of fat.

AND, on opposite side, an agent acting for buyer's IS the counter-weight.

Completely anecdotal, I believe the single heaviest weighted metric you have to make your offer stand out is the offer price when buying on MLS.

For example, a high leveraged syndicator could look by most weights and measures to be at high risk, BUT, what may not be known is they already have a full game-plan for a market pivot where-in they will shift the portfolio of let's say SFR, too a C4D model in which the diminishing rent production is a non-issue because they are gaining significant capital inflow via the deposits on C4D, NOI via the spread on the interest rates on debt, and in a high inflation limited supply market, ample demand. 

@Mark Pipkin,I don’t want to hijack the thread with our differing opinions but I would hope people who were retired or on the verge of retiring in 2008 had a portfolio weighted toward bonds.

Just my .02 but the principles I’ve learned from this book have carried more weight than most other things I’ve enjoyed reading.
