However, their public website, wakegov.com, actually is very helpful as you can look up a property and hit the sales tab and see actual neighborhood sales in date order in a very nice format, year built, sqft, very easy to compare, although not as up-to-date as MLS as it seems to take a few months after sale for it to show there.

I totally agree with Andy and Jon, however, to provide another source try express.realquest.comThey have a per-inquiry rate which may not show on their website, but if you call them, they can sign you up for a per-inquiry instead of per month plan.

I live in Los Angeles and the numbers just don't make sense here for cash flow to me.Some technologies/resources I use when evaluating some property are City-Data, Trulia, Zillow, Google Street View (to drive the town), City Tax Assessors web site, Realquest, Angie's List (a must!)

I assume that if he did in fact pay them the tax assessors website would have updated it no??
