I'm looking into the mid-west region.

Stay away from all west coast states.

Typically an investor will not get into that type of deal unless they get significant upside as there is a chance the entitlement does not work and all that $ ends up going to $0. the projects I am funding for pre development costs in VA are running 600k to 1mil .. out west here usually 100k to 200k can get you to pre lim plat..

Hello,I’m a small Mulit family Investors with all of my portfolio currently in the west coast ( California, Las Vegas) For the last 6 months I have been looking to buy in other markets.Louisville, Columbus , Charlotte are my current  picks. 

How did you decide on Space coast?

Working out of West Palm currently but making some income on my own.

I could find people fairly easy.Add the excitement of a hurricane off the coast (resort shut down at 9 PM so workers could safely get home). 

Other states I considered were Tennessee (specifically Nashville area) and Florida - the high insurance costs and being on the opposite coast with FL and again both are unknown markets.
