New mortgage originations fell over 23% month-over-month and a stunning 47% year-to-date according to Black Knight (formerly LPS).

We talked a lot, I gave him a proof of funds, I worked with his agent, I visited one of his rehabs, then, when he finally made an offer and it was accepted he bailed on the deal by not bringing his emd to closing, both the agent and I were stunned.

My commute to work isn't long enough for it to do me much good listening to them.

I didn't push the guy on the fact that I'm pretty sure his roofers removed my downspout elbow because it wasn't going to do me any good.

But if the numbers make you anxious...which they do me, I'd definitely er on the side of caution.  

Then half-jokingly say, "And by the way, they're idiots when it comes to rehabbing...so do me a favor and double your bid on their jobs so you can pass the savings on me on the next job we do together!"

On top of that the Georgia Dome is in the process of being build which will make the surrounding areas more desirable. 

The down payment alone would do me in.

I will be owner/builder but it will do me good to take the exam and get the GC license.

Take the money you save and do dome light fixture or bathroom upgrades.
